RENEWABLE ENERGY COMERCIALISATION

There are some energy resources, in nature, which produce renewable energy. For example, tidal energy is inexhaustible and renewable, because the tides are predictable, appear twice every day, and shall continue to do so for the next few millenniums. That is the reason why it is very sensible to think about the commercialization of energy obtained from these renewable energy resources.

Now, if you look at the types of technologies used to harness energy during the past two centuries, you're going to see that the harnessing of energy started from the Industrial Revolution. It took the shape of energy produced from coal and steam. After that came the energy obtained from hydroelectricity, biomass, geothermal heat, power and combustion. After that, there came the technologies that brought us solar heating, wind power, photo voltaic and bio energy.

Research and development in the energy sector is going on, to get ideas for the harnessing of energy with a global perspective. These fields include power stations made out of solar energy and thermal energy, bio refineries, and gasification of biomass. 65 countries all over the world are looking for renewable energy resources, which can become commercially profitable.

Worry about the environment is one of the important factors, which is making governments look for alternative and renewable energy resources. Commercialization of the liquid fuel, like ethanol, which can be used as an alternative fuel, has brought about an increase in jobs in the construction of economic plants, their maintenance as well as their administration. That is why commercialization of renewable energy is slowly gaining more in importance day by day.
